Lacrosse Practice
Our practices will be held at Gary Pirkle Park on the grass field every Monday and Thursday from 5:00 - 7:00pm.

Second Lanier Lacrosse Fundraiser and Benefit Night
Saturday, April 16th from 4:00-8:00pm
(after the Senior Day home game at Lanier Stadium)

A percentage of sales will go to Lanier Longhorns boys and girls lacrosse teams.

We are very excited about starting oursecond season of Lanier Lacrosse!
We will practice Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday from 5:00 - 7:00pm. Our home practice location will be Gary Pirkle Park, grass field. We will use the turf field when available.
Dues:
First payment due February 1st - $250
Second payment due March 1st - $150
Final payment due April 1st - $100
Total for the season - $500
Your dues cover the following items:
Practice Pennies, Team Uniforms, Team Helmet Wraps, League, Tournament and Referee Fees, balls, etc...
Please let Coach Keniston know if your player is missing any equipment.
Any reductions for fundraising would be provided as a rebate. We also need a volunteer to head up fundraising as well as people to serve on this committee.

Lanier Lacrosse 2016 Information and Updates
Lacrosse is a Spring Sport
Our Season begins January 2016 and will run through the end of April; although, some championship or make-up games may run into May.
What does my Lacrosse player need before practice starts?
They will need to have a current physical completed, proof of insurance coverage, liability waiver, concussion awareness, parent release, County Code of Conduct, and Emergency Contact information before they are allowed to participate in practice. You can find copies of this information to download and print on the Lanier Athleticwebsite.
Please remember this is our second year together as a team; our players will need to be at practice to get to know how their team mates play and work together.
The sport of Lacrosse is growing fast in the state of Georgia, with Gwinnett County being one of the newest competitive counties. You do not need to have played before, but you do need to know that learning the rules of the game and realize that Lacrosse is a fast paced sport where speed and agility are crucial.
What does my Lacrosse Player need for Practice?
Both Teams will need to bring with them to each of their practices: work out/gym clothes; (please check the weather and dress yourself accordingly, some days will be hot, cold, or rainy at any given time for our season) running shoes or cleats.
Equipment: Stick, Gloves, Pads, Helmets/Goggles and mouthpiece.
'Good players practice until they get it right; great players practice until they can't get it wrong."

Games will be on Saturdays and Sundays, with the majority being played on Saturdays.
